Goos(Also known as Globs, or Glooples, from Amorphous +) are a unique kind of enemy that only appears in the Spelunky X mod for Spelunky. They are made of an unknown substance, making them fit right in with the aliens.

BackgroundEdit

The enemy looks like Bob from Monsters vs. Aliens, but can be killed. It is still unknown if it was modeled by him or if it was a completely original idea by the creator.

StrategyEdit

The "blob" mass has some quite interesting abilities. For instance; destroying the block under it will kill it rather than it falling down, probably because it needs a host of some sort to survive, similar to Venom from "Spider-man 3". Another interesting fact about it is that it has the ability the burn the skin of the spelunker, like the monster from "The Blob", yet it doesn't hurt Yetis or Cave Men. Because of it's form, the spelunker occasionally miss the blob-like figure, since it ducks up and down.
