GameShopOnline.net has done a fair bit of research on arrow traps, and documented their findings here. It would be good if someone could integrate some of the specific findings into our article. --Interiot 13:55, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
Hey, Oatmeal, why'd you undo your revisions to the Spikes description? That was some good information. Do you mind if I restore it? MagFlare 05:10, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
- I'm assuming "yes." MagFlare 02:36, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
Some things not listed but only really relevant in custom maps.
- Giant Spiders are immune to lava.
- Blocks that fall into lava are not destroyed, enough fallen blocks will settle and create a stable platform ( if there's 3 depth lava, 3 blocks will allow you to walk across the top safely.
- An area 4 Mummy that spawns in lava will not die because of it and can fire flies out. (This spawn was possibly removed in the .99.8 patch)

Number of spikes Edit
The article currently says there are four sets of spikes. Actually there are two - one on each level which shoot both left and right.
This can be easily seen if you jump from one side to the other quickly - the spikes don't come out from one side until they've fully retracted from the other.
